[Sponsored Event] Tokyo Luxey Meetup

Tokyo Luxey recently came up with several meetups held in various parts of the Asian region namely Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Bangkok. You may not heard of TL (trust me, I do too before attending the meetup) TL is still new, as it only make recent emerges in the market.

What is Tokyo Luxey?

As the names says it all, Tokyo Luxey is a global community originated from Japan, bearing the company name Rouge Asia Inc. (formerly ChieMaeda, Inc.). http://rouge-asia.com/ Their philosophy at TL is to build a bridge between Asia and Japan, bringing Japanese products into Asian market. So be expected to see wholly Japanese products from their website.

Being the curious me, when TL contacted me to be a Luxey (anyone joining TL community would be referred to as a Luxey) of course I agreed without hesitation and they were so kind to invite Luxeys to meetups held at the convenience of your countries (Asian only). A sincere thank you to TL for bringing not only japanese cosmetics, beauty products, beauty and lifestyle tips but also gather bloggers together to interact and exchange information. 




At the meetup held in P.S. Cafe @Demspsey Hill in Singapore, we were introduced to Ms. Chie Maeda-san (CEO of Rouge Asia and TL) and Ms. Hiromi Hanado-san (Marketing Director of TL ). Yes, where can you find a friendly event that is chaired by non other than the CEO itself right, really humble. And imagine our excitement to find our exclusive bag of goodies presented nicely on each chair. After a brief introduction with all bloggers, Ms. Chie Maeda-san explained the origin of TL, how does the ambassador program works, what beauty and cosmetic products TL offer in the goodies bag and lastly, gaining our opinions on products we are interested and hoping TL would bring in. Yes you heard it TL cares about its consumers.

 #2  Entrance to P.S. Cafe. Surrounded by greens. If you like away from town, this is definitely a choice.

 #4  Ambience inside the cafe. Usually crowded during weekends. Would recommend bookings beforehand.

#10  TL was very generous in having us Chicken Rossa Penne for dinner. The pasta was accompanied with grilled chicken, smoked bacon, spinach and wild mushrooms tossed with garlic tomato cream sauce. Very creamy indeed but the portion is way too big >.<

What is inside and my first impression?

TL made us happy child as we each bag home a goodie bag which includes:

• Smell ~ powdery perfume, still pleasant to the nose
• Color & Teture ~ white, watery, non sticky
• Absorbency ~ fast, leaves skin smooth and non sticky

• Smell ~ pleasant
• Color &Texture ~ Clear, thick but non sticky
• Absorbency ~ fast, leaving skin smooth and non sticky

3.  24hr Cosme powder foundation (11g)

• Smell ~ No smell
• Color & Texture ~ shade 03, fine powder
• Absorbency ~ applies to a smooth and matte finish
